Pursuant to the AFL-CIO Constitution and the Constitution of the New Hampshire State Fed, the Executive Council of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO has scheduled our biennial Legislative Conference for 10:00 am September 24th, 2022. We are currently planning on conducting this event via ZOOM with the sign-in information to be provided to you in the week prior to the conference. 

Your local should have received official notice via US Mail notifying you of our meeting time, location (online), and the number of delegates your local is entitled to. Please use that information to register using the link below. Votes may be apportioned or cast as a block with one delegate in attendance casting all an affiliate’s votes. Each local union may apportion their votes among delegates or one delegate may cast a bloc vote.

The Legislative Conference will review endorsement recommendations from the NH AFL-CIO’s Legislative Committee and make final determinations on those and any other possible endorsements. Please feel free to contact us at communications@nhaflcio.org with any questions or concerns you have.

New Hampshire working families depend on their elected representation to advocate for their needs and fight for their futures. Every election cycle, the New Hampshire AFL-CIO endorses candidates up and down the ballot that are dedicated to the betterment of workers and their families. These endorsements are then sent to our entire membership throughout the Granite State.  There are more than 100,000 eligible voters in union households in the state of New Hampshire. 

Below you will find links to our candidate questionnaires for both the New Hampshire Legislature and the New Hampshire Executive Council.  If the New Hampshire AFL-CIO  votes to approve a candidate’s endorsement, the candidate will be informed of their endorsement by our organization immediately. The deadline for submissions of candidate questionnaires is Friday, August 26th at 5:00 PM.
