FRIDAY IN NEWINGTON: Join Legislators & Allies of NH Labor as they Stand in Solidarity with Westinghouse Employees

Brothers & Sisters,

Our fellow workers at Westinghouse Electric Co. in Newington, New Hampshire are still in a lock out with their employers. These workers are members of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local # 651, and they need our strength and Solidarity. These workers are now without health care or a source of income. Their families are facing a type of economic uncertainty that we all fear. These employees deserve to be treated fairly and to be bargained with in good faith. THIS FRIDAY, to show our Solidarity, members of the New Hampshire AFL-CIO along with members of the New Hampshire Legislature, will join labor leaders from across the Granite State at the Westinghouse Plant Picket Line in Newington, New Hampshire. Details below:

WHAT: Solidarity Event for Locked Out Westinghouse Employees

WHERE: 178 Shattuck Way, Newington, New Hampshire

WHEN: Friday, June 2nd, 2017 @ 12:30 PM

We hope to see you there! Additionally, we are encouraging our fellow members of the New Hampshire Labor Community and its allies to support our Brothers and Sisters at Local 651 by donating to their GoFundMe page. Every dollar is going to help those locked out employees, who are struggling to make ends meet.
