National AFL-CIO Campaign for Health Care Reform
Every American should have quality, affordable health care. The New Hampshire AFL-CIO's work to reach that goal is part of a national movement in the middle class. Click here to check out our coordinated campaign. U.S. Senate Bill For Health Care Reform Needs to Change

U.S. House Passes Health Care Reform Worthy of the Name!
The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Affordable Health Care for America Act in November 2009 by a close vote of 220 to 215. The New Hampshrie AFL-CIO applauds Representatives Carol Shea-Porter and Paul Hodes for supporting this incredibly important bill!
How would this bill affect you? We've created some resources that answer just this question - in a way that's clear, specific, and easy to understand.
We encourage you to take 15 minutes at your next local meeting to run through the powerpoint presentation. Print and hang a different flyer around your worksite each week. And give the fact sheet to a coworker or two!
We need to let each and every union member know how great this bill is - and that Representatives Shea-Porter and Hodes need our support! They put their necks on the line to support this bill for working families across the state. We need to show them our gratitude by letting our friends know our representatives did the right thing!
